Internet Whiteboard:
Witeboard is a collaborative online whiteboard. To use it just head to the site and start drawing. Witeboard has some basic drawing tools and text tools. To share your Witeboard whiteboard all you have to do is give someone the URL that's assigned to it and they can start drawing on it.
It is possible to create an account on Witeboard but you don't need to create one. The benefit of creating an account is that you can save your work and access it from multiple devices.
In the following video I demonstrate how to use Witeboard.

Learning Specialist Updates:
ELA - Ashley Johnson
- SCREADY Math: Below you will find the SCReady Math Testing Blueprint for 2020-21. Please review these.

- District-wide TDAs: At this time, state mandated testing has not been waived and is expected to be given in May. In order to be as prepared as possible, we do want to provide students with some focused feedback on how to respond when given a TDA prompt. In years past, we gave one 1st semester and another one during 2nd semester. Due to the unusual start to this school year, we have decided to wait until the end of January to give our first one. More information on this will be coming soon.
- The 2020-2021 SCReady ELA Blueprints have been released.
- Science Kit Training Information
- Science Kit Training will be happening virtually on November 5th, 10th, 11th, 17th, and 19th from 3:00 - 5:00. Facilitators and participants are asked to attend training from their classrooms so they will have access to the science kit materials. Please allow these teachers to remain in their classrooms until 5:15pm that day.
- HERE is the training schedule for the 2020-2021 school year. Only the November dates are in TNL at this time. All new teachers are encouraged as well as any new teacher to a grade level to attend the November training and plan on attending training on the other dates listed in the document.
- In addition, the 4th Grade Characteristics and Growth of Organisms {Structures of Life} kit is extremely different this year. It is highly recommended that at least one teacher from your fourth grade team attends training on November 11 {if your school is in science groups 3 & 4}.
- SCPASS: Below you will find the SCPASS Science Testing Blueprint for 20-21.
- November 8 - 11: Patriotism Week & November 11: Veteran's Day As a reminder, South Carolina law requires that Patriotism Week and Veteran's Day be observed in all classrooms. Please see THIS CHART for ideas and resources.
- 3rd Grade Social Studies: The following video can be used to show students how to navigate Social Studies Weekly Online. Thank you, Velley Vinson, at River Oaks Elementary, for creating and sharing this awesome tutorial video! (link is here)
- 4th Grade Social Studies: 4th Grade Digital Portfolio Updates The 2nd Digital Portfolio session was offered on October 29th. The slide decks, video recordings, and other resources can be found on the Updates doc.
- Set up for consultant visits: To ensure our school is getting the most effective impact from hosting a virtual consultant visit, you have been asked to join consultant meetings following this setup format when possible.
- Login from separate locations
- Each participant should have their own device and headphones.
- Keep cameras turned on during the meet
