Schedule this week:
| SJE Teachers~ Thank you for working alongside of me as I served as your Instructional Coach for the past 7 years. This position has allowed me to grow as an educator and learn from you, who are the experts in this profession. I'm looking forward to going back into the classroom, working with our Intervention students. This opportunity will help me to grow and learn new programs as I continue to work with you and rely on your expertise to move our students. I hope you enjoy a well-deserved summer break doing the things that bring you happiness. Carol |

NEW - Digital Accessibility Summer 2023 Trainings (SCDE) -
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to introduce a series of new trainings on digital accessibility that I believe could greatly benefit your teachers and staff. As you are looking to plan meaningful professional development for the fall, I would like you to consider the impact that practical skills in digital accessibility could have on your district. In today’s digital age it is imperative that educational institutions prioritize accessibility to ensure equal opportunities for all students, including those with disabilities and their families.
These trainings can provide your teachers and staff with informative, hands-on learning experiences to help them better understand what digital accessibility is and how to know their educational materials, emails, and announcements are accessible.
I have three FREE trainings for teachers this summer:
Also, SCDE is providing a two-day hands-on Accessibility Bootcamp July 18-19. Registration is coming soon. Keep an eye out for details on the School District Accessibility Training Opportunities page.
I am confident that these training courses will play a crucial role in fostering an inclusive educational environment within your school district. By prioritizing digital accessibility, we can empower teachers and staff to ensure parents, guardians, and students have equal access to educational opportunities.
