2023- Summer Scholars Program for GT/High Achieving Students (Pam Gravitte) -
As discussed in the GT ELA meetings, we are sharing the Summer Scholars Program information with you as GT ambassadors to help promote our HCS Summer Scholars Program at Ten Oaks Middle School to your GT classes. All students being served in a GT class are welcome including the second grade students who were identified as GT with the CogAT/Iowa test earlier this year.
Click HERE for a flyer that includes all of the details and the online registration link. Click HERE for a jpeg in case you want to embed a copy of the flyer into a larger document or electronic class newsletter.
Since the online course registration doesn’t open until April 8th, we have also attached a copy of the classes available this summer in case parents want to know what is available earlier. Registration closes on May 4, 2023.
Tuition is charged, however, free and reduced lunch students may attend free by providing their documentation in lieu of payment.
Should anyone want to discuss teaching in this enrichment program next summer, please let me know. We are always looking for fresh ideas that benefit students.
