District Professional Development Sessions for each day can be viewed by following the links below: We also prepared an At-A-Glance document to support in planning: If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

SJE 2022-23 Assessment Calendar
- SS (Kelley Wiltrout)
- The SAVVAS myWorld series has been adopted for grades K-2.
- The Gibbs Smith textbooks (The United States & South Carolina Studies, Part 1 and Part 2) were selected and approved for 4th and 5th grade social studies.
- NEW - 2022-23 HCS Elementary Supply Lists (Mark) -
- Please be certain to use THIS SUPPLY LIST for the 2022-23 school year. Please remind teachers to refrain from asking parents to purchase any items that are not included on this list.
- I tried to get a list from the district on your IDRA attendance and they have told me this:
Teachers who attended and received credit should be able to produce their certificate from TNL. You will need that as proof of their credit.
You can either forward a copy of your TNL certificate, your transcript, or take a Snip-It and send it to me. I can then give you the credit hours for attending these district sessions.
Those who attended our SJE training with Melissa have been given credit. No certificate required
- On August 5th, elementary teachers (grades 3-5), will attend content sessions at MBES. On August 8th, primary teachers (grades K-2), will attend content sessions at MBES. Teachers will attend a full day Kagan session on the opposite day of their content day. This information is represented in the table below.
- Child development teachers will participate in Kagan for Littles at Myrtle Beach Early Childhood School (MBECS) on August 5 and content sessions at MBECS on August 8.
- Depending on the day, some teachers from other areas will join sessions. Our plan is for school teams to attend sessions together.
