Read to Succeed LAP Data (Heather Sheehan/ Jeanna Allen) -
Updated spreadsheets and the front pages of the LAP document for Spring MAP have been created Data for third grade students, who scored in the bottom 25th percentile on the Spring MAP, was used to determine this information. This final documentation does not mean you must begin a LAP on every student on the list. Your school needs to determine which of these students need a new LAP. This new list purposely "casts a wide net" so that no students are missed. Please be reminded that students scoring at 177 or below are performing at least one year below grade level and must be monitored for possible retention in 3rd grade. Remember, schools can determine if they feel a LAP is appropriate for any newly identified student(s) who are at or above 178 on Spring MAP. However, please make parents aware of any new identified LAP students and discuss the importance of SCReady as the state indicator for possible promotion/retention to 4th grade. Please reach out if you have any questions.
Read to Succeed Educator Coursework (Jeanna Allen) -
Pre-enrollment for Summer 2021 coursework will open in TN Logic on Monday 3/29 at 8:00 a.m. and close Monday 4/26 at 5:00 p.m. This Read to Succeed Teacher/Educator Endorsement Requirements link provides additional pertinent information.
