Strategies for Supporting SEL in a virtual setting:

Lexia Glitch:
Thank you all for being so patient as all the new Lexia updates are rolled out. The only issue we are currently aware of is a freeze that happens when students try to complete Level 7 Unit 11. If you have a student encounter this problem, have them log on to a desktop or laptop to complete the unit. This issue only seems to happen when students are trying to use an iPad. If the student doesn’t have access to a laptop or desktop, then the teacher can log on as the student from their laptop and just complete that one unit for them. As soon as unit 11 is complete, the student can begin using the iPad again. Let me know if you encounter any more issues so that I can keep the company aware.
Collaborative Classroom Resource:
Collaborative Classroom is here to support you during this difficult moment. We are making our Reconnecting and Rebuilding Toolkit freely available as a resource. The Toolkit contains class meetings that may be helpful, including "Responding to Tragedy," which can also be adapted for use with colleagues.
