- The testing environment should mimic SCReady as closely as possible. If a student will receive an accommodation during SCReady, then they can receive it on this prompt as well.
- SpEd and intervention students should participate in this prompt.
- Keep these testing materials secure until it is time to test.
- Follow SCReady testing security protocol. No instructional or teaching “tips” before or during the assessment.
- SCReady is untimed, but instructional time is precious. Please consider what is best for students when you set testing parameters. Formats could include: one reading and writing class period; one reading, writing, and SGI class period, or one day untimed.
- Students who are absent on testing day should be allowed to have a makeup opportunity.

R2S Summer 2022 Coursework Opportunities (Jeanna) -
Pre-enrollment in TNLogic for summer courses will open on Monday 3/14/2022 at 8:00 a.m. and end on Friday 4/8/2022 at 5:00p.m. The online courses will run from June 6, 2022 through July 24, 2022.
The Spring MAP testing window is March 14 to April 1.

R2S Summer 2022 Coursework Opportunities (Jeanna) -
Pre-enrollment in TNLogic for summer courses will open on Monday 3/14/2022 at 8:00 a.m. and end on Friday 4/8/2022 at 5:00p.m. The online courses will run from June 6, 2022 through July 24, 2022.
TDA Field Test for 3rd & 4th graders: Updates: Online TDA Field Test: 4/7/22
· The TDA Filed Test should be considered as any other DRC Testing Session.
· Although 3rd Graders will take the SC Ready ELA Test on Paper, the TDA Field Test will be presented online.
· All students who participate in SC READY testing are expected to participate in the TDA field test. The field test consists of 1 TDA item.
· The TDA Field Test will be delivered on Thursday, April 7.
· The TDA Field Test is primarily available in online format with the following available:

All students must complete the graduate non-degree application online, register in True North Logic for each individual summer session and pay a $45 application fee. Courses can be taken in any order or together. Teachers have a one year grace period before they must complete both courses and have the GT endorsement added to their SC teaching certificate.

NEW - New Project CREATE Opportunity - Kristin Wilson, Special Education
The CREATE scholarship program, underwritten by the SCDE Office of Special Education Services, is pleased to announce another new fully online Bachelor's degree program in Special Education that results in initial K-12 SCDE educator licensure to teach. This new program represents a partnership between :
All full-time employees in SC school districts who do not have a Bachelor's degree (in any major) are eligible. A high school diploma/GED is required, but no previous college coursework is necessary. Upon degree program completion, CREATE recipients must return 3 years of special education teaching service to the State.
More information will be provided when applicants submit their CREATE application online at www.sccreate.org.
