- Please sign up for virtual sessions by the end of the day on August 6th as many presenters will be reaching out to participants with links and materials for the session.
- There have been a few adjustments to sessions. If a change was made, the session is highlighted in yellow on the Google Sheet and the specific change is highlighted in red.
- Due to popular demand, we added seats to the elementary technology sessions. They have been released for sign-up.

- Achieve3000 has a new look! There have been quite a few updates to the Achieve3000 platform over the summer. Click here for Top 10 New Look Fors ! Classes will continue to be automatically generated based on Powerschool rosters
- Achieve3000 LevelSet testing window will be open from Aug. 17th - Aug. 20th. Please do not have students log on until you are ready for them to take the LevelSet test.
- Lexia: Just a reminder, only K students will be prompted to take the placement test the 1st time they log on to Lexia. All other students will pick up where they left off last year. Resetting placement tests for 1st and 2nd grade students should only be requested in extreme circumstances. Please reach out to NITA if you have a student who needs to be reset.
- ReadingA-Z: Let me know if you need your user name & password.
- ALEKS and Freckle information will be coming next week.
- The USA Test Prep subscription for 4th grade social studies has not been renewed this year. Time previously dedicated to the use of this program should now be redirected to creating and maintaining digital portfolios. Thank you!
- All new 4th grade teachers are asked to attend a Getting Started with Digital Portfolios (#30683) session. It is recommended that all veteran 4th grade teachers attend a Supporting Digital Portfolios (#30684) session.
- All 3rd grade teachers are asked to attend the 3rd Grade Studies Weekly Updates & Refresher PD (#30682) session as the program has been revised over the summer to align more closely to our standards. I am waiting to find out when newspapers should arrive in your buildings.
- Teachers are encourage to sign up with a grade level partner (if possible) if you are attending the science training (course 30802- Elementary Science Updates and Long Range Planning for 3D Science Instruction) on August 10th/11th. You will have an opportunity to plan and it would be beneficial to have at least one other grade level teammate on the team.
- Seesaw Classes: Seesaw classes will continue to be automatically generated based on Powerschool rosters again this year. Teachers do not need to create classes or remove old classes. Also, since Seesaw portfolios will grow with students from year to year, please be reminded of the following tips below:
- Do NOT delete or archive your class - Because you have Seesaw for Schools, your administrator will archive your class for you. Leave your class as it is. Woohoo!
- Do NOT delete students or student work - Your District Administrator will set up next year’s classes, and each student's portfolio will follow them into next year. One of the perks of Seesaw for Schools!
- Do NOT turn off family access - Seesaw for Schools allows families to see their child's learning from previous years, even if your class is archived. Keep family access ON so families can look back at previous years.
- Kendall Hunt password access for M^3 Mentoring Mathematical Minds is available for GT Math teachers.
